Shane Doty

I am a Washington D.C based photographer originally from Maryland. Taking photographs has been important to me since I got my first camera at the age of 17. Over time I have Developed my skill and approach to photography. 

My portfolio showcases some of the best photographs I have taken in the past few months and the type of photos I enjoy taking at the moment, photos that hint at or tell a story.

I am available to photograph events such as weddings and special occasions. The DMV is where I am readily available but I would be interested in working further afield. I also offer my photographs as prints for sale.

I am West Virginia University graduate with two majors from the School of Arts, I have been shooting photography as a hobby for close to 15 years now and have recently broken into the professional scene. My type of photography varies from capturing Portraits, landscapes, street photography and nature. I've done weddings, family vacations, family gatherings, parties, camping trips and engagement photos.
